ANNUAL AWARDS The studio gives out four types of awards every year. For more information about each one, please see the detailed descriptions below. This Year's Award Winners Achievement Awards Honor Students Performance Awards Achievement Awards Every student is recognized for their consistent pursuit of the skills required to be successful musically. Certificates are given for each year of study that is completed. Commendations are also given for perfect attendance throughout the school year. Excellence Awards Individual trophies are given for exceptional growth in a particular area. Each honor student will also have their name engraved on the appropriate perpetual plaque that is on display in the studio. Recipients consistently demonstrate a good practice ethic and "can-do" attitude. Recognitions include: Vocal Technique Most Improved Vocalist Piano Technique Most Improved Pianist Musicianship Stage Presence Study Award One $100 study award and individual trophy is given out each year. The recipient will have their name engraved on the Study Award perpetual plaque that is on display in the studio. Decisions are based on musical talent and enthusiasm. Award credit may be applied toward any avenue of study offered by Bel Canto Studios. Performance Awards These awards recognize those who have successfully auditioned for and performed in some venue other than lessons or classes at Bel Canto Studios. The awards are not limited to full time students. Adults are also recognized.
